Most of our clients don't and that is why we designed Gatekeepers to be so easy to use. Anything you do not want to do, we can do for you but with Gatekeepers you have the option of doing it yourself to save time and money.

| What is different about a Gatekeepers website? |

It is the next step in website evolution. Gatekeepers goes beyond the standard database "driven" website to the next level which is a database "published" website. The important difference is how the pages are created. A database driven website creates each page at the moment a visitors click to view them. If the database is down, the pages are too. However, a database published website is unique to Gatekeepers and allows you to edit your pages and when ready, you can publish them to the Internet. As a result, your webpages load faster, are easier to for search engines to index, and are not dependent on the database.

Gatekeepers gives you your own online administration tool which allows you to control the content and function of your website. You can use it to easily upload, add, edit, and delete content (text and photos) which are stored in a database. Once you are satisfied with your updates, you then have the option of publishing your pages immediately or at a latter date. With one click it takes the professional templates we designed for you, fills them with your updated content, generates the html coded pages, and publishes them to your website for viewing.

| Is a database "published" website better than a database "driven" website? |

Yes. The webpages are available to your visitors faster and search engines like Google can easily index them which increases your website's exposure on the Internet. Since most organizations and companies want to be noticed on the web, this is an important consideration. Our database published websites are recreated each time your content changes so all the pages are available to view and index even if the database is down.

| What if I have a quick question, how much does it cost for support? |

We know that there is nothing more frustrating then having a quick question and having to pay for it. As a result, we do not charge for the first 10 minutes of support. Most questions can be answered in less than 10 minutes. After 10 minutes our fee is prorated. You can however, email us your questions for free.

| How is Gatekeepers different from other website tools like Microsoft Frontpage? |

Gatekeepers is much easier to learn and use and updating is done with an advanced editor that works similar to Microsoft Word. Other tools require you to purchase and install software on your computer, however, with Gatekeepers everything is done on-line. Other tools have editors that are difficult and clumsy to use but ours is very easy with many advanced features if you want to use them. With Gatekeepers you can update your website from anywhere, at any time, from any computer connected to the Internet. If you want to manipulate your photos we offer a software program you can download and use for free.

| How is Gatekeepers different from other on-line website tools? |

With Gatekeepers you have more control over the look of your website. You are not locked into templates you don't like. Adding pictures, sections, categories, and pages do not cost extra. You also have a more complete range of features that many other on-line tools do not provide.

| Does Gatekeepers force you to use advertising? |

| What if I already have a website? |

Gatekeepers can take your existing HTML website and in most cases duplicate the pages into Gatekeepers style templates. Once you are set up on our server, you can begin updating your website using our administration tool.

| Can you host our website as well? |

Yes. To guarantee the proper functioning of Gatekeepers we in fact need to host your website. This is why we include hosting as part of the package price. This also facilitates our free Gatekeepers upgrades because all of the program code is centrally managed by our servers. When a change is made all of our client benefit from the change immediately.

| Is Gatekeepers like some of these "Flash" sites I've seen? |

No. Flash animation can be incorporated into your pages as you will see at the top of this website but we do not recommend 100% Flash websites. The reason for this is because many search engines can not index Flash based webpages.

| What if I want to change my website later and give it another look? |
| |
Any or all webpages can easily be changed to a new design simply by choosing a new template for that page when you edit it. If you want a template redesign that you do not have loaded, we can do that for you. Send us any new ideas or photos, graphics, logos and we can incorporate them into a new template(s) design.

| How long does it take to train someone to use Gatekeepers? |

It usually takes between four and eight hours depending on how well the person understands Microsoft Word because the Editor is very similar to it. We also train on how to add additional email accounts and manage the features and modules built into Gatekeepers. Some people learn everything they need to know in a couple of hours. We also offer tools such as training guides and online videos in our Client Care section.
